21c Museum & Production Simple welcome Louisville's own Eluvium, aka Matthew Cooper,
in concert. Currently residing now in Portland, Oregan, Cooper is a prodigy of ambient
recording – taking the dense layers of guitars and painos, Eluvium gives his audience
an elegnat noise in the style and spirit of Brian Eno's most accomplished masterpieces.
Eluvium will be celebrating his most recent release, Similes, the long
awaited follow-up to the acclaimed Copia. The artist's seventh full studio
release is his most experimental direction to date – with musical elements previously
uncharted by Eluvium: percussion, a verse-chorus song structure, and singing. Also
his most accessible album, Similes is the most daring – and ultimately
most rewarding – work of Eluvium's impressive and prolific career.
